Assuming that rtl8192cu and rtl8192ce are the same chipsets, the above instructions will fix your wifi driver issue. The wifi driver that ships with most of the linux kernels for rtl8192cu are having a bug and needs a patched version of the driver. That is where the patched version of the driver from github is coming in.
